The Barmedman Ute Competition has been running as an annual event
since 1998. Originally, the competition was developed in order to
aid the success of the Local Show and promote our small country
town.
Today is its 13th year. A new attraction this year is the “Country
Practice Ute” exclusive to Barmedman. The first time ever to a ute
muster. It has been fully restored, some come along and be see
“Australia’s Most Famous Ute” and be part of Australia’s beaut ute
history.
The success of our event can be attributed to the generous
sponsorship and support of local and national businesses and the
tireless effort put in by the volunteer helpers and committee of the
Barmedman Beaut Ute show.
Utes compete annually for $1000’s dollars worth of prizes and Ute
enthusiasts travel from all over the eastern seaboard to compete.
Ten major titles are up for grabs annually along with supplementary
prizes for Champion Ute of Show, Best Ford, Best Holden, Most
Impressive Stereo, Best Females Ute, Longest Distance Travelled,
Most impressive exhaust, and Encouragement awards.
More information on Categories can be viewed under our Judging

While we aim to promote our small country town through this event,
our community supports us in return by providing entertainment in
town on Saturday night, fuel food and accommodation for those who
would rather not swag it.
So come along and we’ll see you in Barmedman on Saturday 3rd
September 2011.
The Barmedman Beaut Ute Competition is run by a group of dedicated volunteers and is an intrinsic part of the Barmedman Show Society.
